I know I can't wait. Remember that the Kingston Chess Club starts the Monday after Labor Day. We'll be updating our Google Calendar with this seasons events in the coming weeks. We've got new tournament formats for 2013/2014, which should make things more interesting, and more challenging. If you're interested in a few fun games over the summer, leave us a message. Some of us will try to play at the Kingston City Park on Sundays.

Are you going to be running the tournaments as CFC rated?

ReplyDeleteThe Kingston Chess Club hasn't done CFC-rated games in a while. But we do help organize the CFC-Rated Kingston Open held in December (although we missed it last year). We took a poll last year, and most of our club members don't really care to pay the extra CFC fees. Club games are currently only rated on CXR Chess.
