The Kingston Chess Club Championship will be changed from 6 rounds to 5 rounds, seeing as we usually have less that 32 players anyway. The extra day will be rolled over into another tournament.
We will be introducing a new 6-round rapid tournament over 3 club meetings, 2 rounds per club meeting. Each player will get 45 minutes for each round. Round 1, 3 and 6 will start at 7:30pm, while rounds 2, 4 and 6 will start at 9 pm. Games will conclude by 10:30 pm. Here is a rough schedule:
