 Hi everyone, there will be no chess running tonight (22nd of December) and next week (29th of December). Happy Holidays and we'll resume on the 5th of January, 2026.

No Chess on Labour Day

 Hi everyone, there will be no chess club running tomorrow (Sept. 1st) as it is Labour Day. Hope you enjoy the rest of the long weekend.

No Chess Next week (May 19)

Hi everyone, it's the Victoria Day long weekend next week. There will be no chess running for either section. Chess will resume on the 26th, and that will be the final day for the juniors until the start of the next school year.

I will continue to run chess for the adults (starting at 7:15/7:30) for the rest of the summer.

No Chess Monday January 6th

 Chess will resume next Monday January 13th.

Another Classical Night Tomorrow (August 5th)

 Hi everyone. There was enough interest to run the chess club tomorrow despite it being a civic holiday.

Since it is the first Monday of the month, we will be doing another classical tournament, with time control of 60+15. I will bring scoresheets as before. If you attended the previous classical week, I will try to pair you with a different opponent.
