Hello,
Thanks to everyone who came out to the club today. We managed to play a 3-round mini-tournament, with Peter Sibbald winning with 3/3 points. I hope everybody had fun playing. We'll be off for the next 2 weeks, into 2013. Our next meeting, which is the 1st round of the Kingston Chess Club Championship, will be on Monday January 7. Hope to see everyone there.
Please let me know if you need a BYE for this first round.
Happy New Year!

Last Meeting for 2012
Thanks to all who came out to the Holiday Party yesterday. I hope people had an enjoyable evening of food and chess.
There is only ONE more chess club meeting this year, which is next week Dec 17. Please come out if you can. Our next meeting with be on Monday January 7, 2013.
For those who are coming next week, I'm hoping we can have a 3-round rapid tournament. We can start pairing at 7:30 pm. Each round is approximately 1 hour (25-30 minutes per player). We can either do a single-section swiss tournament, or break it up into 4-player round robin sections. We can decide on Monday.
Hope to see you guys there!
